The teaching schedule is organized according to the academic calendar of the University of Patras, and each semester includes:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In-person education: Three (3) Friday\u2013Sunday weekend sessions per semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Synchronous distance learning: Every Wednesday afternoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asynchronous learning through the e-class platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The timetable for courses and examinations of each semester is announced at least 10 days before the beginning of the semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The duration of study is full-time and corresponds to a total of 90 ECTS credits, with 30 ECTS credits per semester.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Detailed Course Schedule<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1st Semester (Winter Semester) \u2013 30 ECTS<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 compulsory courses:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MTE-101: Research Methodology in Health Sciences<br\/>Subject Area: Basic principles of research methodology, study design, and statistical analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTE-102: Applied Biomechanics of Therapeutic Exercise<br\/>Subject Area: Movement analysis, biomechanical assessment, and application in rehabilitation.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTE-103: Therapeutic Exercise Design<br\/>Subject Area: Individualization of exercise programs, exercise protocols, supervision, and adaptation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTE-104: Therapeutic Exercise \u2013 Spinal Manual Therapy<br\/>Subject Area: Applications of mobilization and manipulation techniques in combination with exercise.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2nd Semester (Spring Semester) \u2013 30 ECTS<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 compulsory courses:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MTE-201: Postgraduate Research Design<br\/>Subject Area: Development of research proposals, ethics, and literature review<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTE-202: Advanced Sports Physiotherapy<br\/>Subject Area: Management of sports injuries, injury prevention, and rehabilitation training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTE-203: Therapeutic Interventions in Neurorehabilitation<br\/>Subject Area: Contemporary approaches to neurological conditions and rehabilitation of motor impairments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTE-204: Special Topics in Exercise and Rehabilitation<br\/>Subject Area: Exercise in chronic conditions, special populations, and contemporary approaches in rehabilitation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3rd Semester (Autumn or Spring Semester) \u2013 30 ECTS<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Master\u2019s Thesis:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MTE-301: Master\u2019s Thesis<br\/>Students undertake, under the supervision of a faculty member, the design, conduct, and presentation of a research project on a topic related to therapeutic exercise.<br\/>The thesis is publicly presented and evaluated by a three-member examination committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The detailed list of courses per semester of the MSc \u201cTherapeutic Exercise,\u201d which has a duration of three (3) academic semesters, is presented below.
