Program Structure / Overview

The MSc “Therapeutic Exercise” is a full-time program with a total duration of three (3) academic semesters, equivalent to eighteen (18) months. During the first two semesters, eight (8) compulsory courses are taught, while the third semester is dedicated exclusively to the preparation of the Master’s Thesis, which holds significant importance within the framework of the program.

The entire program of study corresponds to ninety (90) ECTS credits, distributed as 30 ECTS credits per semester. Attendance in the Postgraduate Study Program is mandatory, and the educational process follows a blended learning system, which combines: (a) in-person lectures (during three weekend sessions per semester), (b) synchronous distance learning (every Wednesday afternoon), and (c) asynchronous support through a digital platform. The percentage of distance learning does not exceed 35% of the total educational workload, in accordance with current legislation.

Modules are taught in Greek language, with the possibility of using English where required (e.g., foreign-language bibliography, guest lecturers, assignments). There is also the option of part-time study for working students or in cases of exceptional need, following a justified application.

The MSc “Therapeutic Exercise” is structured in a way that combines academic depth, clinical application, and research training, offering its students a comprehensive educational experience.
